Church is made up of cells

Verses:Ephesians 1:1-14, Matthew 17:21-23, Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:20-22, 5:22-25
1. Preview: church is the bride of Jesus, in Ephesians, the blueprint was written for building the church of God’s heart
2. Central scripture: Ephesians 1:10- woman/man, social status, ethnicity, country, universe and man, ect, can rely on God “to become one” and “heal,”
3. Unity: Matt 17:21-23, God values this concept, but in many churches, who are we uniting with when we talk about unity? What’s the standard for unity? There’s many theories.
The relationship between Jesus and church:
1. The head and the body: Jesus is the head and the church is the body (Ephesians 1:22-23)
2. The cornerstone and the house: we were build to be the temple for God, through the Holy Spirit, God lives inside of us and Jesus is the cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20-22)
3. The husband and wife (Ephesians 5:22-25)
4. Ephesians chapter 1-3 is teaching, chapt 4-6 is action: in His teaching, God mentions we are abundant in Him- Chapt 1- In Jesus Christ, we can receive many spiritual gifts
5. Blessing as believers (This is from Heaven and in Jesus Christ)
Contains: we as chosen ones, we have the title sons/daughter of God
The purpose is to praise God’s glorified grace
6. Believers have God’s inheritance in Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, we can utilize this inheritance
