Welcome to CROLCC, we are so glad you are here worshiping with us. Today is the last Sunday of the year which means year 2014 is drawing to a close. What are your feelings and thoughts for this year? If you are like me you might wonder where the year has gone, but you also know that much has been accomplished this past year. Just for our church alone, we moved from being a renter to owning our building. Isn’t God awesome? Till this day I am still amazed at what God has accomplished through us. There are still lots that needed to be done and we can hardly catch our breath, but we also know that we do need to pause from time to time to smell the roses, and the end of the year is one of the perfect times to do so.
Therefore today instead of our usual testimony Sunday where only a few get to share, we have decided to let you all have time to share and reflect on the past year. In your bulletin you will find several discussion questions and in just a few minutes we are going to break up in a group of 4-6. We have designed the questions so you get to know one another as well as pray for one another. You can choose to use all the questions or just pick some that you are most interested. But please do remember to pray and bless one another for the coming year. We wish you a very best 2015!
Discussion Questions
1. Christmas trees are decorated with ornaments of family traditions, memories and personality. If your life was represented by a Christmas tree what would you hang on it to tell the world who you are?
2. What is the best gift you have received this past Christmas? What are some good gifts you have received this past year from God?
3. Think of the 4 (or however many) closest people to you. If you could give them anything for Christmas next year, what would it be? (Explain that money is no object.)
4. What is the one thing you would like to accomplish next year if you don’t accomplish anything else? Pray for one another to see that one thing be accomplished next year.
