Honor (Neill Jakins)

Welcome to CROLCC, we are so glad you are here worshiping with us. We are officially into the month of June which means summer is either already here or is fast approaching. I often see summer time as a transition time. If a family were to relocate to a different city or a different house, they would often use the summer to do it. Summer is also a good time to take some vacations, possibly because most kids are off school then. Summer is also seen as a time to get ready for the next school year for those of us that are students. It is used as a time to relax and to recharge for the next grade level up.

Summer to me is also a good time to do some reflections. In fact, the older I get, the more I think reflections or personal retreats are important. I would even advice on having 2 personal retreats and reflecting times per year, to get away from your daily routine and just to reflect and to pray about your life. Reflecting on the past of where and how God has led you, and pray towards the path that God is directing you. It is a good practice on learning and listening to God.
