Liberating the Bruises (Russell McCollough)

Welcome to CROLCC, we are so glad you are here worshiping with us. I hope you are staying cool in this hot weather! Last week we had a really great encounter retreat, where a lot of us once again encountered Jesus in the areas where we needed most. Sometimes our lives are broken as a result of what we did or what others did to us, but we can all take our brokenness to Jesus. God sent His Son Jesus to this world to redeem the world and not to condemn the world. Our job is to receive Him, yet He loves us so much that He wouldn’t force it on us. That’s the amazing part, He left it for us to choose Him.

You don’t have to go to the encounter retreat to encounter Jesus, you can experience Him wherever you are, as long as you are willing. Today we have invited pastor Russell back to share with us on this very topic. Some of you may have heard his story, but it sure doesn’t hurt to hear it the second time. He is a living testimony that Jesus indeed has redemptive power. I hope you will be encouraged as you listen, and believe that Jesus can do the same for you and for those He placed around you.
