Welcome to CROLCC, we are so glad you are here worshiping with us. In about a month many of us are going to the encounter retreat and we are also in the midst of our 40 Day Fast and Pray to prepare for it. I would like to encourage you to consider going whether you have been to one or not, especially if you have never been to one. During our last series Free we have talked about that once you place your trust in Jesus Christ you don’t just get a one way ticket to heaven, although we believe that one day you will be in Heaven. You don’t just simply pray to have your sins forgiven although we believe that your sins will be forgiven. We believe that you get to live an abundant life and bear much fruit while you are here on earth.
However many of us carry the scars of our past that prevent us from reaching our potential, the potential that God created us to fulfill. No matter how hard we try to move past those scars they have a way of finding themselves in our present. Sometimes it’s through interactions with a family member, other times perhaps through a conversation with a friend, and we find ourselves emotionally overwhelmed with what might have happened to us maybe as long as 10 years ago. But did you know that God has a way of healing you or restoring you so those scars no longer will have an effect on you? At the retreat you will have the opportunity to ask Jesus to heal and restore you. So that you will have the opportunity to live the abundant life that God intended for you. Would you please sign up today?
