Welcome to part 3 of our series The Blueprint of Life. Last week we said that if you and I were to
research all the verses in the Bible that talked about God’s will, we basically could conclude that they fall
neatly into 3 categories. They are The Providential Will of God, The Moral Will of God, The Personal Will
of God. Do you remember the differences between the 3? We said that the clearer you are about the
first two, the easier it would be to discern God’s personal will for you. Would you take time in your daily
routine to read God’s Word so that you would be more familiar with the providential and the moral will
of God?
I promised you that this series will get more and more practical on a personal level and today we will
talk about your gifts and talents. We believe as Christians that God gives each one of us unique gifts
and talents, and the more we know about them, they can serve as clues as to finding God’s plan in our
lives. Do you know your God given gifts or talents? Or are you still trying to compare yourself to other
talented people? I hope by the end of this message that you will take some time to identify your God
given gifts and talents, and that you will leverage them to fulfill God’s plan in your life.
Changing Your Mind
Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their
hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your
progress. 1 Timothy 4:14-15
