Church Establishment and Paul’s Epistles
1. NT Structure of 27 Books
• a. 1. Gospel Books: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John

2. Acts: How the church established history
According Acts1:8 to divided into three sections:
a. The Testimony of the Church in Jerusalem (chapter 1-7): These chapters describe the Holy Spirit comes, Church establishment, and Church persecution.
b. The testimony of the church outside Jerusalem (chapters 8-12): The church was scattered due to persecution, Gospel begins to spread to the Gentiles, Paul’s process of believing.
c. The church’s witness to the ends of the Earth (Chapter 13-28): record the Apostle Paul travels three times, imprisoned, Gospel was passed to Rome.
d. The work of the Holy Spirit from beginning to end throughout the book, so this book is also called “The Holy Spirit Movement”
3. Total of 21 epistles, 13 of them are written by Apostle Paul, include:
1st & 2nd Thessalonians1st & 2nd Corinthians、Ephesians, Philippians & Colossians、PhilemonTitus, 1st & 2nd Timothy
4. Theology covered in the epistle can be divided into following categories
a. Theism
b. Christ Theory
c. Spiritualism
d. Salvationism
e. Church Theory
f. End-Time Theory
5. How can we imply what we read in Paul’s Epistle in our daily life?
a. Can Christians eat food sacrificed to an idol?The principle: (1 Corinthians 8:9)
