Kingdom Culture (2) – Culture of Church

Welcome to CROLCC, we are so glad you are here worshiping with us. We are in the middle of our series Kingdom Culture and last week we talked about the Culture of Honor. I hope you had some time in the last week to think about this challenging message. We live in a culture where power is desired because it means you can then control people to do what you want them to do. But as Christians we are called to honor one another, to promote and to elevate one another’s status. It is easy to honor someone that you agree with, but we are also called to honor those that we don’t completely agree with as well. I hope

Today we are continuing our series and the speaker will be sharing about creating a church culture for God’s presence. I need to warn you upfront, it is another challenging message. It’s easy to nod our heads and agree with the pastor, but it’s much harder to do. But we must not just settle for listening, but continue to strive for what we have been called as a church. Remember, you don’t go to church, you are the church. So be the church, and may God fulfill his plans through you.

Moving Forward

We are the body of Christ, which means every one of us is as important as the next person. Believe that you are an important part of the church. Treat one another like yourself because they are just as important.

Changing Your Mind

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
1 Corinthians 12:27

Discussion Questions

1. Have you ever experienced anything supernatural before or after becoming a believer of Christ? Have you ever witnessed anything supernatural? How was that experience like?

2. Have you ever get along with someone who is completely different from you? What did you or that person do to help make the relationship thrive?

3. How would you cultivate an environment for God’s supernatural activities in your everyday life? What can this group do to support you?

4. How would you encourage yourself to value people that are different from you, i.e. to see what’s wonderful about that person? What can this group do to support you?
